Therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. Neither are our treatment journeys.
Take a look at some of the services I utilize to create a custom plan for your therapy needs.
EMDR
“Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a mental health treatment technique. This method involves moving your eyes a specific way while you process traumatic memories. EMDR’s goal is to help you heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. EMDR can help people with a wide range of mental health conditions. Adolescents, teenagers and adults of all ages can benefit from this treatment.” Source: Cleveland Clinic (Learn more about EMDR here)
NMT
“The Neurosequential Model is a developmentally-informed, biologically-respectful approach to working with at-risk children. The Neurosequential Model is not a specific therapeutic technique or intervention; it is a way to organize a child’s history and current functioning. The goal of this approach is to structure assessment of a child, the articulation of the primary problems, identification of key strengths and the application of interventions (educational, enrichment and therapeutic) in a way that will help family, educators, therapists and related professionals best meet the needs of the child.” Source: NMT Network (Learn more about NMT Here)
Body
What we eat, how we move, and how we receive information from our senses have an impact on our mental health. Poor nutrition/digestion, chronic pain and inflammation, and sedentary lifestyles are correlated with low mood, cognitive decline, and poor emotional regulation. My goal is to provide education and help you explore how movement, healthy nutrition, mindfulness, therapeutic touch, aromatherapy, and other body/sensory based practices can be incorporated into your healing journey.
